How The Snooker Calendar handles analytics choices, visitor information, calendar downloads and contact email.
Current scope
Effective 5 September 2026. This policy covers The Snooker Calendar, an independent project published through AirJay-dl at snookercalendar.com.
For a privacy question or request, email contact@snookercalendar.com. Include enough detail to identify your correspondence, but do not send passwords, payment details or identity documents.
Analytics and your choice
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate website use, such as pages visited, approximate location, device type and referral source. Google Analytics is disabled until you select “Accept analytics” in the privacy notice. If you reject analytics, the Google tag is not loaded. Your choice is stored in your browser so the site can remember it.
You can change your decision at any time with the “Privacy choices” link in the footer. Accepting after a rejection starts analytics from that point. Rejecting does not delete data that may already have been collected while analytics was enabled. Google may process analytics data under its own terms and privacy policy. We do not use the site’s analytics to identify individual visitors.
Website visits
The site has no user accounts, comments or newsletter forms. Calendar filters run in your browser, and search terms are not sent to an application database.
Hosting and delivery providers may process IP addresses, browser information and request logs to serve pages, maintain security and diagnose errors. Provider privacy policies apply to their own processing, and we do not control the retention of their infrastructure logs.
Email and downloads
If you contact contact@snookercalendar.com, we receive your address and the information you choose to include. We use correspondence to respond to the enquiry or investigate the reported issue, not to enrol you in marketing. Correspondence is kept as needed to address the issue and maintain necessary records; you may ask for deletion.
Calendar downloads are static files. Importing a file gives your calendar application the event details, not access to your calendar account. Imported entries do not automatically receive future updates.
Advertising and external links
Links to organisers and other websites take you to services with their own privacy practices. This site does not receive your payment information when you buy tickets from an external provider.
No Google AdSense advertising code is active. Before advertising is introduced, this policy and the consent controls will be updated to explain the actual services and choices available.
